Migrant Education - The ShadowTrac Difference

The major difference between ShadowTrac and other systems such as MSRTS, state level programs, and the new Texas system, "New Generation" or NGS, is that the data contained in the database is used for local management control of the regional program's student services.
In other words, the data will directly help you manage and track your students in your local area. You do not need to know, for instance, a complete history of the individual student, you do need to know what grade and school they are currently attending, and when they will be ineligible for services. -Go-
With ShadowTrac, you can answer the question, "How many 5th grade students do you have attending a particular school?". With a just a couple of keystrokes, you answer that question and know who the students are, their age, who recruited them, when they were recruited, their EOE date, etc.. -Go-
With other systems, you usually have to request large amounts of information and 'drill' down in the resulting report to acquire the above type of specific information. -Go-
